A comprehensive study on the nation’s new generation, presented at the first Humannera conference at Technopolis Athens, unfortunately revealed concerns we’ve had for some time.
Young individuals aged 18 to 26 feel uncertain about their future and are generally not optimistic.
They believe it’s imperative for companies and individuals to seriously address environmental issues.
They strongly feel that there’s a lack of justice in work, society, and education.
They think they won’t find acceptance in any form of their diversity.
They perceive that leaders either don’t care about the new generation or are unable to do much due to pressure from corporate interests.
Finally, they fear that artificial intelligence will become a tool in the hands of the powerful, making it harder to find employment in the future.
It’s important to give a platform, voice, and confidence to the country’s new generation because they are the ones who must take the reins in the near future.
